Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NameWise ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

NameWise is a baby name discovery platform that uses AI to generate personalized name suggestions based on your preferences. The app includes features for swiping through names, saving favorites, and matching with a partner.

Account Registration

  • You must sign up using a valid Google or Apple account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app or its servers.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or access the app.

AI-Generated Content

Name suggestions are generated by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, cultural appropriateness, or suitability of any name suggestion. You are solely responsible for your naming decisions.

Partner Features

When you invite a partner, you consent to sharing match data (names you both liked) with that partner according to the permissions you selected. You can remove a partner connection at any time.

Intellectual Property

The app, its design, and its content (excluding user-generated data) are owned by NameWise. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

Limitation of Liability

NameWise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated name suggestions.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
